W. Scott Craig, Psy.D., received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He then received his Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degrees in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology (1989). He completed his internship at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Craig is a licensed psychologist and health services provider in North Carolina. He is a member of the American Psychological Association. He has a diplomate in clinical psychology from the American Board of Psychological Specialties. He has a UMass Certificate in Primary Care Behavioral Health.

Dr. Craig has published professional articles on topics such as adult ADHD and anxiety disorders in family medicine, and he was the editor for a book on integrated psychological services in primary care. He has worked as an integrated psychologist at Carolinas Healthcare System, and he was the assistant regional chief of mental health services at Kaiser Permanente (Charlotte office) in the past.

Dr. Craig is a seasoned clinician with experience in consultation, management, education, supervision, and leadership. He promotes increased self-awareness, motivation, accountability, self-care, and resilience (primarily via mindfulness/ cognitive behavioral therapy principles). Dr. Craig works with children, adolescents, and adults. His areas of interest include depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
